Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God’s Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace in her son at a very young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. Reverend Ken is Ken’s older brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. While in the university, the Man of God began what would become the largest congregation worldwide. It began with the formation of a small prayer group known as ‘Youth for Christ’. The group would eventually become the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry has two healing schools located in South Africa.

Songs and Gospel Music are also an essential part of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for gospel music. Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is trained and overseen by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers have successful solo careers.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that seeks to carry on the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. Its mission is to find and train young, talented leaders. Apart from preaching the Gospel message the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that are tasked with providing vital services and hope to the most vulnerable and neglected. Five partners make up COFI, all working together to improve living standards in the poorest regions.

COFI’s umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups strives to improve health, lives and spirits of those who are most vulnerable.
