Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a religious family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.

The entire family is involved in the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the most revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University.
